Default code problem

hi. have a volvo v70 2.4, 2001 year. got engine check light on. i have default code which is P1011. dont know only what that means. if any one had this problem before pls tell me here or send private msg. thanks.

While I am sure the thread will get moved, your post would be better served in the correct section of the forum, eg the V70 section

Can't find P1011 listed fro your car, are you sure you have posted the correct code number?

I'd be interesed where this fault code description came from.

P1xxx codes are manufacturer specific and vary between models and model years it can be very misleading to use non Volvo published data.

I think S60Driver has tried to be helpfull with a "P1011" search but this answer refers to a Renault Clio .Dodge Cummings its :P1011 - Fuel Pump Delivery Pressure Too Low, and Subaru is different again.

yes, i posted right code. was also looking on google but couldnt find anything. friend has codereader GS400. i have U480. and both readers gave me this code.

S60driver, did u have this code on your car or someone told u that.

i know that Pxxx is manufacturer,so for that reason came here on volvo forum to ask, if anyone had v70 and this kind problem.

Could you post the exact engine code (usually on the cambelt cover)

It should be somthing like B5244S or B5244S2

For engine code B5254S, P1011 = ECM-7110 = Engine control module, internal fault in knock sensor circuit.

It may help to provide the information required.
