hi, new to the forum-here's my pride and joy.....
Hi everyone, i am new to this forum and just wanted to say hi and show you my pride and joy.
i have done alot of work on the old 480 since i got it, and it really is the best car i have ever had...you can't get better than a volvo!!! I love the 480 and every time i flick the headlights up it is so brilliant, but one is broken so only one works...makes a horrible noise as well when i do it. let me know what you think http://www.flickr.com/photos/43197877@N03/ things done so far. 1. exhaust drilled to make it sound sporty 2. 1 headlight removed and turned into air filter 3. stickers added 4. tyres changed to yoko 048 racing tyres 5. interior stripped out let me know what you think. |

WOW, a Volvo 480 with a bi-turbo converstion. That would make it the best car ever, no seriously. Just think of the massive amount of power that would be produced by something that looked like a wedge of cheese. If only Volvo had thought of it first, I'm sure it would have been their best seller. I would happily pay anything upto £30,000 for a beast like that.
No wait........£40,000. I think we should start a petition, "Start Production Of The 480 Once Again, But Fit It With a 2.0 Litre Twin-Turbo........Unless You Can Squeeze A 3.0 Litre In Instead", and send it to Volvo, or should that be Ford now? I bet Ford would just at the chance. Hang on, Ford also own Aston Martin........maybe they could rebadge it as an Aston. The New Twin-Turbo Aston Martin DB480. Jeremy Clarkson would love that. That would definitely be the fastest car around the Top Gear track. You my friend are a genius, why has no-one else thought to do this to that little pop-up headlighted, rusting rear arch, cheese wedge shaped, ABBA listening to, sauna using, blonde haired, Ikea shopping, meatball eating, 70s porno making piece of automotive brilliance. You should enter it into races, and it would decimate all! I don't know why more people haven't commented on this thread, it has to be the best, with out question, on the whole of the site.......wait, maybe the whole internet. I wish you good luck my friend, and Godspeed (what exactly is Godspeed, it must be pretty fast. Maybe God would like one of these 480s too, I'll ask, and get back to you) DuncVolvoTurbo (VPcUK member)

I asked, but he said it would be too fast for him, but he wished you luck in anything that you plan to do, or do in your Volvo
