740's....Who's got'em???

Hi all anyone here able to post close up piccies of there grills so I can count the number of uprights? and the year of registration?Or just pm me instead of ruining this post.

Hi James thanks for the picture!I take it your car is 1990 as is listed on your car list and is the same as mine with 18 uprites.I just need other lovely people to post theres especially around the 1990 year prior and after,Then I can be confident that earlier grills have 17 upright bars and later facelift grills have 18,and 940's have 21.
I can then scour ebay for the right one without relying on inacurate measurements.Thanks NI what year is your car?

I believe James A is the type you're looking for, the grills I have are pre facelift 740, up too 89MY and 91MY on 940, IF while your waiting you check my threads "My 740SE" and " The Turfburner" there's should be pic's of both vehicles where you would have clear views of the grill

My 740. cost me £300 from eBay just over a year ago, best £300 I ever spent.

I really like the grill but it probably won't fit mine Lol.

Hi Brian, Thanks.
This one is the daily driver, i dont think i have it in me to do "radical" anymore, i left that behind with my MR2 and Supra a few years ago.
Thinking about it it was only a purchase of a 740 saloon about 5 years ago that opened my eyes as to how hard you can try to impress people who dont really matter with your car.
The 740 saloon i bought was so "not you" as i was so often told that i absolutely loved it and have never been without one since
