Paintwork blistering (bubbling)
I've noticed that there are little rust spots/bubbles starting to appear on the bonnet - right at the front just under the chrome grill. Is this normal ('T' reg 1999). I've only just found them after polishing the car (I only purchased the car last Saturday from a Volvo dealership).

RE: Paintwork blistering (bubbling)
There was a service bulletin on this year to stop the radiator grill rubbing at the paintwork. If you rhink it might be that take it back.
However, more than likely it's stone chips that have just started to show up. I have them on the front of mine - just polish them over and if you didn't know they were there you wouldn't spot them. Probably just one of those things on a 4 year old car I'm afraid. Mike V40 T4 SE Auto |
