Clutch biting and then clunk = no drive
My car is currently running in 2WD (see http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=88503) and having completed about 10 miles since it came back from the garage I popped to the shops...... started car... pushed clutch pedal to the floor, engaged 1st .... brought clutch up to biting point, which is about 1-2cm off the floor, and heard a clunk and the result is no drive to the wheels.... no nasty noises just no drive... any thoughts on what has come off?
Edit: Garage just phoned and they had driven it back from Garage but they are checking it over anyway - I will see what happens but is it possible that the biting point has readjusted itself --- straws being judged here by me to defend my embarrasment....

Well the biting point does seem to have adjusted itself further up but it did jump out of first at the traffic lights so maybe both it and me need a little time to settle down and get used to each others idiosynchrasies again
