Default Scrapped Amazon list

This thread is a place where you can list Amazons that you know to have been scrapped.

While it will never be an exhaustive list of information, perhaps it will help former owners who are trying to establish whether or not a particular vehicle is still in existence.

Please try to list as much info as possible, i.e.;

Model, Registration mark, VIN, Date scrapped.

I've broken a number of Amazons over the years. I don't have details of all of them, but laterly the DVLA issued a document with details of the car being scrapped.
I'll kick off the list with a few of the more recent ones...

Seems a bit morbid for a sticky, it's like putting the obituary column of a newspaper on the front page Gordon.

Hi Derek,

Don't think there are any pics, as the car was never here for that long. Will have a look all the same.

Why Morbid Mitch? Hopefully we can help people find out if their old cars are still on the road and communicate info with other clubs...

It's a list of dead Amazons and as a sticky it will be at the top of the page so the first thing you will always see. Fair enough have a thread for people looking for their old cars but as a person that is not sentimental about such things I'd rather see current topics take priority.

A list of Amazons still kicking about would be better and then if not on the list she's a goner...

I see your point Mitch, it does look a little high profile for the subject.
If your ok with it I'd like to keep them as a sticky for a couple of days until most folk know what we're trying to achieve, then I'll move it to the articles section?

No one else will be able to add to it though. If you prefer, I can link to this and the 1800 one in my FAQs thread (once I have the chance to do some more on it) & that way it will still be easy to find?

Would people be able to post if I put them as stickies under the articles section?

I don't think so. Normal forum members don't have the necessary admin privileges to post new threads or reply to existing ones in the articles section. I'm only able to edit & add to my FAQs thread following negotiation with the admins.

Thanks Paul,

In that case, I'll 'unsticky' these and would be grateful if you can put a link in your FAQ thread.

Many thanks again,

Gordon
