Can VIDA be used to change the settings on a Volvo to utilise the ABS system to detect a deflated tyre.
I know Mercedes, BMW and VW offer this as well as TPMS using monitors in each tyre.

Are there any "aftermarket" gurus who can do this? I had my mercedes changed to do this by www.comandonline.co.uk - is there a Volvo equivalent.

Thanks

As far as I'm aware this cannot be done with the unit that we would use at home, I think that you would need a Volvo dealer to make changes if it was possible. The reason is, that using this unit at home, you are not connected to Volvo servers and therefor cannot download any service packs etc.

I think that is purely a software / programming issue. I have not seen these functions on my VIDA.
I know that there are functions on a mercedes like global closure which older Volvos definitely do not support.
