Default V70 T5 on lpg, petrol injector question ?

How do,

I have a 99 V70 T5 with the ME7 ecu and the fuel rail with no return and a pulse damper. When gas converted should the fuel pump shut down while on gas or is there a pressure relief system somewhere other than the rail ?

Thanks Jim

99 is pre ford so does not use the pressure sensor on teh fuel rail.

The pump must NOT be cut.

Are you having a problem?

The only bit of meddling ford have done on a 99 is changed the volvo grill badge to blue, lol.

Problem i've got is petrol entering the cylinders on over run (even on gas) then getting burnt off when i go back on the throttle.

As it's an ME7 with no return pipe from the rail i thought maybe a pressure issue i.e. forcing fuel through the injectors.

Thanks jim

Sounds like the petrol injectors are leaking. I'd suggest getting them cleaned

Was that done for the same problem and did it solve it that time.

Strange to get the issue in the first place let alone happen twice!
