Default Maf sensor location?

Well after advice on here I have just bought some electrical contact cleaner from halfords. Was going to clean the MAF sensor on my V70 55plate am I right in saying as I am under the bonnet it is to the right towards the back?

The MAF sensor is on the intake pipe coming from the airbox.

have you the 5 sided torxs bit to take the piece out that you want to clean.

the maf element itself needs to come out it is held in the housing by two security type scews, you can sometimes get them out other ways but they are a five sided type torx bit with a hole in the middle. when you have the maf out you should see a silver plate this gets black and needs cleaning i did mine the other day and used a q tip.
