I'll get first dibs in for Ian2000t!

I'll PM him too, then it's his call, I'd hate him to miss out on this!

Steve, cheers for the heads-up!

Is it definitely the 5 speed (not 4 speed+overdrive)?

Have the MOT/Tax actually expired yet? I would be interested in the manual conversion, plus engine, alty, pump as spares, but at the moment I'm gonna have to pass (and probably kick myself for doing so) as it's a long way to somehow get it back, and at the moment I really haven't got anywhere to put the car until it's stripped!

Ah, shame!

I'd say that on an "N" plate, it would pretty much definitely be an M90, mine was an "M" and that was.

Oh well, you really are gonna kick yourself though Ian, Christ, if I can change engines at the side of the road, anything's possible!!

its not the electric fan version, as far as i know that means 4 plus o/d gearbox.

Mine had a viscous fan...

In the bin now though, replaced with a big dirrrrty 17" Kenlowe!!

I thought all the diesels had the viscous, on account of needing cold air through the intercooler all the time to try and reduce the epic lag a little??

I can confirm it's a 5 speed, not the 4+o/d.

MOT and Tax have both expired.

I have a trailer and would be happy to meet people half way for the cost of fuel if distance is an issue.

The car is near Acle, Norfolk.
