tyres, which to use?
looking at either a Kumho Ecsta Le Sport KU39 or Yokohama BluEarth-A AE50.
the car is more a show vehicle these days spending lots of time SORN. so I don't need anything with bonker amounts of grip or even long tyre wear. one thing I definitely need is rubber that dosent crack after a couple of years, like the Federal's did.

I'm fitting the Kumho ku39 to my car next, good grip in wet and dry, last long enough, have a built in rim protector and quite cheap too.

I have Kumho Ku39 on the back of mine and are approx 3 years old, almost done now but no cracking that I can find.
Some tyres start to go after just 10 months, guess its salt + UV that kills them? |

It's more UV, but generally the harder the compound the more cracking you will experience..
