Quick update (first posting on voc)

Ok i have spoken with volvo and there representatives, the factory is free and the museum is £6 and 4km taxi away.

They are very busy and may be able to lay on some events for us depending on how busy they are.

So its all looking good.

I will look into flight and try and find the cheapest. but thinking a monday and tuesday.

But i would like to see a 2 month time frame at the most.

people start putting down bad dates now or forever hold your tongue!!

This is correct, it is being organised by me, my father and the other directors.
Includes a visit to Polestar Factory with tour and other bits TBC

Price £300-400 with flights and transfers from Gatwick

i'll probably do both tbh as were thinking of going before, there is a chance we can go to polestar and crash test facility, but the events organiser said they are very busy but will try and accomodate.

May be we can't get to polestar when we go but i'll be a def for next years trip.

I should have said i haven't seen this months copy of driver (or any infact).

I don't generally use VOC but have recently been going to the portsmouth meet at the lion.

Trip to Gothenburg, Volvo & Polestar.

There was a very successfull trip organised over at www.t5d5.org just a few weeks ago, apparently they were entertained well by both Volvo and Polestar and the trip cost just the flights, transfers and hotels.

Hi Don, yes i know i was unable to attend that date due to being out of the country.

That's why i'm organising this small trip and going pretty soon-ish.

But i'll probably put my name down for the trip next year with voc as well.

Both Polestar and Volvos hospitality was excellent when we went over for the PCP Drive last April. We were more than welcomed and they made our trip one to definitely remember. You can see from Dons T5D5 link we will have something very similar.

Just on way back from g-burg. Everyone at Volvo has been fantastic!! We did factory tour, and managed to get access to crash test facility with all the Volvo film makers, not something open to public and we were very lucky. Watching live crashes and got chauffeured around all day.

We had luck at Volvo museum as they weren't busy we had our own tech / guide who gave us access to most exhibits, inside and sometimes underneath.

Both facilities are a credit to Volvo, our hotel was centrally located in the heart of g-burg and we found a fantastic English pub.

If anybody would like some info please ask, cost wise was £160 flights, hotel and transfers, including parking.
