    Turbo oil Return

Does anyone know anywhere that sells a full kit to replace the oil return? Including hoses and fittings? I've seen the yoshifab fitting which would save me tapping the block, but would rather not have to get items shipped. Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

Sorry I don't think I made myself clear. I want to upgrade the standard fixed pipe that fits into the oil drain in the block with a braided hose or something along those lines, don't really want to go through the effort of tapping the block which I believe will mean removing the engine. Yoshifab sell a push fit unit which some people have said works, wash just wondering if anyone sells something similar over here? Or knows of a better solution

You don't need to remove the engine to fit the yoshi fab kit, it's awkward to fit on RHD cars due to the steering column but with a big enough hammer....

Some engineering outfit must be able to produce a milled piece of steel with an AN10 thread, all you need after that is an AN10 cap cover the milled piece whilst you whack it and some thread lock type of adhesive to ensure it doesn't come out. I guess it's just a case of taking some measurements of the diameter of the hole, diameter of the collar. and depth of each...

But to answer your question... I don't believe anyone in the UK makes something similar. Try kinugawa turbo's maybe? I'm 'trying' to fit their braided lines at the moment...

Thanks for the help mate. What's the crack with the turbo side of it? Tap the oil drain on the turbo ready for another fitting on the end of the hose?

I bought the yoshi fab fitting and a generic AN10 td04 adapter for the turbo side, yet to fit it all mind. Shipping wasn't that bad, i quite often get parts delivered from the US. Its not as bad as everyone makes out.

                Funny

Volvo also uses this construction of returning the turbo oil into the engine block on its larger engines. We just had a leaking oil return pipe seal on a new Volvo Penta block replaced under warranty. Unfortunately the guy had to fly out by helicopter to the offshore location....
