coolant hose

hi all
am i on borrowed time with my 1995 940 tdi coolant hoses been on the car since new . would you only recommend genuine hose due to shape as the bottom hose is quite long . all comments appreciated !

I hope this part is still available.
Someone on the d24 list had a tractor place make one up for him, but that sort of thing would probably be easier in the US than here.
A temporary, but expensive (around £120), solution would be to replace the coolant with Evans waterless which, as the boiling point is 200C, means that it is running at atmospheric pressure.

the top and bottom radiator hoses are still available from volvo £65 for the pair the top one is short the bottom one big but still a lot but its needed
