Not the tip so much mate but the actual circumference of the tube before it goes into a box I need to find out so I can order some stainless pieces

I tried to get under to measure it but the back box is so huge you can't really reach - need to jack the car up to be sure. It looked the same width. If it's just the section before the back box you need, I can go out and have another try?

Just wriggled under there - 2 1/4" between the back box and the last expansion bottle, it looks the same all the way down.

You could always wrap a piece of string around it, mark both ends, then take that measurement and divide it by 3.14 :)

Or just use a vernier calliper and measure the diameter.
