Quick Question!

If the gear oil dropped too low, would the engine stop light come on? or would something else light up?

there are no sensors on the gearbox to measure the oil level so no it wont affect the engine at all

Can you think of any reason it would suddenly just light up?
I was just driving along at about 50 and it suddenly lit up, I noticed no change in the way the car was driving etc.
Its still on now.

Could just be a faulty sensor somewhere. I know loads of people who drive their cars with warning lights on, engine management lights on etc, etc.

No one is going to want to buy her with the engine warning light on!
