Jump starting a V70

Car battery dead on my 2001 v70 2.4 S this morning.

On the V70 the battery is in the boot. Getting to it involves taking out the carpet etc (my car's got the 7 seater kit)

What's the easiest way to jump start a V70? Does it have a + post under the bonnet and if so where is it?

hi yes under the bonnet you will find large anchor point
you cant miss large red cable .find a nice earth

On my US 2004 V70 the positive connection for jumping is in the engine compartment under a little plastic flap marked with a '+'. It is right next to the fuse panel.

Same on a 2001. There's a bolt sticking up from the wheel strut right next to the fuse panel, use that for earth.
