Common fault? P2262 / Turbo pressure

    Ahoy,

Yesterday as I was driving to work I noticed the check engine light. Not great.
Third party code reader said P2262, which is apparently turbocharger or supercharger boost pressure

Was there all day, but surprisingly there were no issues with the car.
No smells in the cabin, no different or odd smoke from the exhaust, no issues with the turbo kicking in, limp mode, revs, mpg.

Needed to drive around today, and after a road with a particularly annoying set of speedbumps it just went away.

I had a feeling it might have been a sensor issue from the off, am wondering if this is a common fault or should i still aim to get it looked it after the fact

    Cheers

If I slow down for a 30 or 20 mph zone and the revs drop to below 2000 the engine like coughs and I feel like a stutter. Do you think this is a Turbo pressure fault? Can it be fixed or does it mean having a new turbo fit. If so how expensive?

Hi, I've got the same problem too now on V40 D4. Flies above 2000rpm but seems like the smaller turbo isn't doing anything. Did anyone find a solution? Thanks

Just an update, turns out mine was the MAP sensor on the intake manifold. Cleaned it with some alcohol and working good again
