245 240 estate conversion kit
Complete conversion kit for a 240 estate
The kit is new exept the tank that I've taken out of my old estate. The tank is the type for mounting verticaly in place of the spare wheel. The cover still fits over the tank so no sign of the conversion can be seen. Tanks holds between 42 and 45ltr of LPG depending where you fill. As the parts will all be new other than the tank I can tailor the kit for either the K-jetronic fuel injection or for the carb engine. (if carb I will need to know the carb type) Price £600 - Delivery within the UK is £25 You will also receive tips and advice on fitting as part of the kit. |

Hi,
I need some more details to give you the right price. What year and what fuel system is fitted? It is possible to put the tank on the opposite side to the spare wheel but requires quite a bit of work. The fuel filler point would need removeing from the wing and would have to be relocated. The filler neck to the patrol tank would also need to be reworked. Another option would be to fit a replacment petrol tank in the well oposite teh spare wheel and fit a LPG tank in place of the original petrol tank. |

240 conversion kit
hi, my estate is a 1992 2.3 i se with cat. i can see that to put the tank opposite the spare wheel would involve a lot of extra work maybe i could put the spare in there instead.

You will be best with a modern multi point conversion on that rather than using the older stuff. Bit late and my brain is half asleep so I will answer this fully tomorrow.
