volvo glt 850

Hi, i have been offered a 1994 Volvo 850GLT estate with 145000 miles on the clock for £995.00, i'v had a drive in it and everthing seems ok with only a bit of fading but no dents, its got an mot until feb 07,does this seem a good buy?
anything i need to look for, i just need it to tow a caravan.

Dave,

if you post back with a full spec. (eg engine type, gearbox, climate options etc. etc.) then we will have more to go on to advise problem areas. The more info you give the better the advice. Alternatively an hour or so browsing the 850 forum will show you many areas to look out for and, as importantly, how to overcome them.
