Default 20" OZ Wheels (pressures and tyre brand)

The photo shows my 2007 V8 with 20" OZ Wheels. (on Dartmoor)

Personally I find them rather noisy at this size but I am stuck with them, is there a suitable all weather tyre (not winter tyre) to fit these rims?

Maybe it's just the tyres, or the pressures? Tyres are quite new.

We live rurally, I dont want summer tyres next time, but as they would have to be used all year I also don't want winter tyres. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of a good brand of all weather that fit this size?

The current set of tyres are Athena Austone SP303, 275/40 R20, I've no idea if they are a good brand, they were on the car when I bought it.

Many thanks.

Well looking on openo they appear to be of the cheaper variety,

Suppose it all depends on your budget rather than anything else

Why are you stuck with those wheels, they look aftermarket?
If you don’t like them could you not by some replacement wheels of a smaller size on so where like eBay and then sell the these ones to offset the cost. You would then have a better ride, have ore options with your choice of tyre and they would be cheaper as well.

Thanks for the link.

Vredestein Quatrac 5 275/40 R20 106 W XL

These seem the best bet(?).

Default 20" Wheels

I have a set of Lenso 20" wheels on my 2004 XC90 which started off with having Hankook tyres. They where okish but since then I have had fitted four Pirelli Scorpions 275/40/20 & they have been brilliant in heavy rain & dry.
I have yet to try them in colder conditions.
They are quieter too.

I would also reccommend having your car wheels checked for alignment. I have had my done three times in the ten years I have owned it, on a machine called "Hunter Alignment". It drives like its on rails.
Surprising what damage these roads are doing to our vehicles.

When i got my 19in sport wheels they had 2 bald tyres on and 2 half decent accelera's (shudder) on,

I put 2 new general grabber GT's to replace the bald tyres and put the accelera's on front to run them off and have to say i've actually been quiet impressed with them and i don't exactly hang about
