Default I’ll soon be saying goodbye

After 8 years of various P2 cars, I’ve just put a deposit on a P3 V70 D5.

I’ll be listing various spares I’ve acquired over the next week or so, finally followed by my E3 D5 😢

I’ll probably still dip in and out of this section once I’ve sold up.

"Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives..."

Things change and we move on. I've been looking at P3's myself.

Please describe the P3 you're buying.

I, for one, need to learn which years to avoid (2008 through ?), if any.

edit: Just looked at the ad. What a chariot! Best of luck with whatever you decide.
note: Damn, cars are sure inexpensive over there.

It’s a very heavily loaded late 2009 r-design with the euro 5 Diesel engine.

This one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184313256838

No it doesn’t. I had the option spec list from Marc before I went to see it. It had a couple of options, built in booster seats and power child locks, not listed that made me want it - got those in the current P2 and need them with the little monsters!

It’s not perfect by a long shot, but has potential to be nice fairly inexpensively (famous last words!)

Default Good luck

I wish you all the best with the new car... Several forum members have migrated from P2 to P3, and most have been very pleased with their new pride and joy.
Lets know what you think after a while, I'd be interested in your thoughts.
Did you once have an AWD R too??

Cheers
Bob.

I'm one of them but to be honest my p2 was a better car. I made big mistake when buying, I bought a d3 because it came up at the right price.
Should have held off for a d5 but manual with black leather was the 2 must haves.
Having seen the op's purchase a sunroof will be on the must have of the next.

I wish! 😂

I made noises about getting an R especially when a really cheap one was advertised a couple of years ago needing a steering rack. Missed out on that though unfortunately as the seller px’d it.

Nice looking new car - I hope it serves you well.

Sadly, I am starting to look for a newer car; most likely an S80 D4 but this isn't by choice. I work all over the west-midlands but mainly in Birmingham where there'll soon be an £8.50 daily charge for entering the clean air zone.
