Default 2009 V70 component

When I took the front interior light cover off to change the bulbs I saw the component in the diagram. Does anyone know what it is.

It looks like some kind of sensor to me:

Temperature - unlikely given its position benind the light panel.
Inclination - possibly some kind of inclination sensor linked to the alarm?
Motion - possible a motion sensor linked to the airbag system?
Humidity - again, unlikely given its position.

My best guess would be some form of inclination sensor to detect if the front of the car was lifted up and trigger the alarm?

Final option - I havn't a clue and am just guessing

Wiring harness for the sunroof motor? At least that's where it is on the 850 😉

The car is a Japanese import so no standard alarm system on it. No sunroof.

I was just interested in what it might be. Certainly looks like some sort of sensor. There are slots in the light cover under its location so could be to do with the ECC.

A lot of cars have a cabin temperature sensor in the front interior light housing which is used by the aircon. The slots under it sound like it might be measuring the temperature of air entering through the slots. Is there a mini fan behind it?
