Default Alarm triggers shortly after locking the vehicle

Seems to go through little periods of happening then not happening.

I wondered if it was a low battery thing but it's just happened after a fairly long run out so I don't think it's that anymore. Although it is cold. So maybe?!

Anyway, I think it might be the door deadlocks firing a few minutes after the doors are locked...

If I put the car into 'reduced guard' then the issue doesn't occur.

Any ideas how to resolve??

many thanks

Most likely a fault with one of the Mass movement sensors above the headlining. The fault codes/ alarm causes will indicate the cause when read out.

It has been my experience that the internal sensors can be affected by the proximity of some electronic devices too.

If I locked the car with my Galaxy S7 powered on inside, then a good 30-40% of the time the alarm would trigger within 5 minutes. Apple and Windows devices, and other Samsung phones showed no such issue.

Just a thought, have you changed your internal lights for led? Does the alarm go off when the lights eventually go out inside?

Cheers
