Default Problem solved

After winkling out the rear window heater switch and info switch, there was a lot of fluff attached to the wiring after 24 years. Using the vacuum cleaner, I sucked out whatever was in there. The internal temperature gauge was working, but when the automatic climate control hit the right temperature there was a clicking noise as if it was seeking to adjust the flaps constantly. Moving the temperature up or down made the noise go away, until it reached the right temperature again. It was as if the temperature sensor wasn't functioning properly. The little fan in it was sucking in air - I could feel it sucking and making a very faint noise, so that still works. It probably had some fluff doing something to the insides. Anyway problem solved, no more irritating clicking noise.
