Don't confuse these bushes to the saloon ones which are #80733 and use a sleeve at the body end. Poly alternative not advised at the body end as it transmits a lot of noise into the body.
Thanks Derek
That’s the missing piece of the puzzle, the bush came with a sleeve so I fitted it, quick job to remove it and hopefully that sorts it out

If it came with a sleeve I might think it is the wrong bush. If Brookhouse check the listings.

Came from Amazon cars it’s a super flex product, probably has other uses than just the 220 panhard

I'd still check with Rob. Note my comment about poly at the body end. Rob's maybe softer than the early ones which caused the problem. At least they will be easy to change.

Rob said if it came with a sleeve it’s surplus

Well that went well, it’s much too loose, the old and new sleeves are both 1” OD so I could fit the old metal sleeve in the new poly bush

Spray twice daily for a week. (possibly) but you can give the nuts a try as you go along. Not uncommon for the bolts to seize in the bushes.

Had to cut the four bolts that hold the axle to the swing arms, even with the rubber block in the vice and a weeks worth of rust loosener I still can’t get the bolts out
Have refitted the swing arms with new rubber blocks and poly bushes but could not get the torsion arms loose
Definitely an improvement the old rubber bushes were like sponge, il keep spraying the torsion arm bolts and have another crack in the winter

The bush is the same as the 140/240 but the amazon estate has a slightly bigger bore through the insert
