Default 1.8 oil filter

Just been thinking about carrying out an oil change, looking at my engine it seems to have a paper element type filter in a housing, is there a conversion to use a spin on type filter?

Cheers Steve

No , it is the other way around , this motor started off with a spin on filter but was converted to the element type in 1998 , the element is cheaper than the spin on filter and almost as easy to change ..
