There was a 260 estate on ebay a few years ago that a really tidy rover v8 conversion, don't know if anyone has done it with a 262.
It did cross my mind, but i decided to go with the B23 beside the obvious benefits, because it would be a straightforward bolt in job. No measuring up or manufacturing home made engine mounts, cutting props etc hopefully saved myself a lot of time. I would like to see a 262 with a V8, as many of you probably know, the PRV was originally designed to be a V8 not a V6. It lost 2 cylinders when someone panicked following the fuel crisis. Plenty of 240's about with small block chevy's, look like a really neat fit. |
