Talking Injector Type Change

Quick question guys, avoiding a long and frustrating story, I've decided to change all 5 injectors.

I've now got access to a good set of Type 3 Injectors, the car is currently fitted with Type 1 Injectors.

I know that the car will need a re-program to use the Type 3s once fitted, my question is this.....

Will the car be driveable once I've swapped them out, I need to get it to somewhere that can do the program magic for me!?

Oh, and how much will the re-program set me back?

Ta

I've read somewhere over the last couple of days that Type 3 injectors can't be used to replace type 1 injectors due to the fuelling characteristics being to far apart?

Can anyone confirm this at all?

Ta

the engine will run ok but will either be delivering a little too much or a little too less fuel .there is only a small difference between grade 1 and 3 , but for emissions it does make a difference ..
the dealer will take about 10 minutes to do the job and no software is needed so you wont have that cost added on .
