Default D3 Fuel consumption deterioration since first year service

I used to get 43MPG+ and even 50 MPG until I took it in for its first service at 6000 miles. It only does 41 MPG now at best with no chance of hitting 50 MPG. Same runs same drivers. I think it might be slightly quicker than the original settings but the service download seems to have ruined the MPG.

That is strange as exactly the same happended to me last year - I went from 36 (ish) average down to the 33 (ish) that I get locally, same roads, same journey and same driver. When I mentioned last year it was generally not believed.

I spoke to Volvo about this and they said that they had not changed anything - clearly they did as I have not managed to get back to the same MPG as in the first year of ownership.

If you get it resolved, please tell me how
