Default RSE head rest colour - query.

Having picked up our new XC60 R design last week, I am starting to wonder if our dealer has fitted the incorrect colour head rests for our RSE system. We have the off black / beige interior however the head rests are all off black, surely the side panels should be beige? If anyone with the same setup could put my mind at rest it would be much appreciated!

Hello,

I think you might be correct in thinking they've fitted the wrong headrests, on the accessories website for XC60 RSE (if this link works); http://accessories.volvocars.com/Acc...ent/VCC-427854

It lists a choice of two headrests for R Design;

Part. No. Description
1319748 Offblack, GM00, GM0U
1319749 Soft Beige/Offblack, GM02

If your trim code is GM02 then they should have fitted 1319749, I would go back to the dealer and check.

Hope this helps

Thanks for that Simon, was searching for that page for ages. As I have had the vehicle for over a week what are the chances of getting them changed hassle free?

On doing a bit more investigation our trim code is GM00 for off black/soft beige. So looks like the ones we have fitted are correct after all.

If you want I can double check your trim code on the Volvo system but if it is GM00 then that would be why they ordered the fully Off black headrests.

Just had a look at the colour swatches in our showroom and GM02 is the opposite to what you have, mostly beige with black trim so those headrests probably wouldn't suit your car if yours is mostly black with biege trim.

Hope that clears it up!

I have the exact same trim combo and thought the same thing it seems stange but thats how it is. I thought it might have been cost cutting. I do recall checking the S60 on acc web and I think they list one for the offblack/biege but they are a different unit all together
