Space is indeed a bit limited around the mirror.

This is mine... crappy pics, but its night time.

Its a lot less 'disturbing' in real life than the pics make it seem.... its not in my natural eyeline when looking out of the windscreen. Its completely invisible to the passenger.

Just taken these outside our shop - Getting chilly out there!

As you can see it's a really small unit, and it fits nicely up just under the mirror - GPS reception is excellent up there, and it's quite unnoticeable to the outside world.. The included 90 degree power connector is a good idea as well!

It will actually go about 50mm higher up, but the screen starts to get hidden by the mirror and I like to see the GPS speedo, and of course the Snooper camera warnings!

Here's my Mini 0801 in my V70. Completely hidden behind the mirror from my normal driving position, can see it if I duck down a bit.

Yes, I'm a little bit envious of the OP's impressive camera, but for sub £50 the 0801 is great! I'm collecting a nice little library of bad driving vids

Lol - I'd have been happy with one like yours but really wanted to "lose" another box from the dash, ie the Snooper, so this one tick all the boxes

I have a request for all concerned... Any chance of a couple of daylight pics taken from the outside? Not really close ups but something to show how noticeable or not these devices are

Main dealer clearly didn't notice mine despite the car being in their workshop for a couple of hours

Yes, saw that thread. Thank you. I'm after a view from eg standing in front of the car not right up against the screen. Basically I'm a bit worried about getting my window smashed and someone trying to nick it. I don't want it to be something I have to remove from the car every time I park up which I think I might have to do with the Snooper due to it's size. Unless I'm completely misjudging the size, hence my request for pics.

Behind the reflective screen and the blue stripe my 0801 is very hard to see.... it certainly would attract any abnormal attention IMO.
