Error P0244

Hiya,
Im new to this forum (im usually on a SEAT one) so i hope im in the right place

we have an s60 D5 165bhp on a 53 plate with just shy of 64k on the clock and its encountered its first problem.

I had the RAC out to it today due to an EML. The report has come back with P0244 Wastegate Valve performance fault. The fault has been on once before and went away but its back again. Both times it went into limp mode.

Is this valve replaceable or is there something more fundementally wrong with the turbo and need a whole new turbo??

Which ever way, i dont suppose anybody has any idea of cost??
