Default Which Parking Sensor do I need ?

Hi

I need to replace my rear parking sensors on my 2007 185 (facelift bumper) xc90.

Volvo won't tell me the part no. And I was hoping not to remove the bumper just to find out.

I've found these sensors on ebay. The sensor face looks the same as mine as they don't have an outer ring round the face of the sensor.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151234809212?redirect=mobile

I was hoping someone might have replaced theirs and can confirm if I'm right ?

Volvo want £65 for one sensor, and on eBay I can get 4 for the same price and they have told me they will work fine with no errors.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

For a My2007 xc90, part numbers are 31341637 (-517070) or 31341344 (517071-) depending on your chassis number.

Thanks Paul. I had seen your post and have tried the tip a couple of days ago.

I don't get the message but get a continuous beep when wet.

Since I've cleaned them (they weren't dirty though) the continuous beep hasn't happened. But it is intermittent.

I thought if I can get 4 sensors for £60 I would just change them.

I had this problem on my 56 plate car I used an eBay sensor and it didn't work, it wouldn't beep constantly but it wouldn't work properly so bought a genuine one and it sorted it all works fine now this is my experience of eBay sensors may be it was just me but I would recommend genuine ones
