Yes, i saw it the beginning of the week, G reg isnt it? with the impact just below the indicator, with the flaking paint, doesnt look like it has been taken care of, may rust at that point, but yes, it does seem a little steep for the car

i'd probably sell for £500 tops, depends how much you want it i guess

I've seen it on Retro rides as well.

Things are worth as much as some one is willing to pay for it. I have a BMW 635 at home and everyone is always saying how there shooting up in value. I'm not convinced. Week after week you see the same cars on Ebay not selling and the bids getting no where near what we are told there now worth.

Volvo saloons have always been risky bussiness. I am sure if you have all the time in the world any price is achieveable but the likes of us know that if your paitant enough one will pop up locally in better condtion and for half the price. Just depends how badly some one wants one I guess.

seen it, but too pricey for me. I bought mine 5 years ago for around that price. Without the ding.

Its mine, Its up for £795 or make an offer

The last owner was quoted £100 to have the "dent" done.

You would have to a long way IMO to find a nicer one inside and with the dent done would be a 9 out of 10 car.

I'm only selling as I've just bought a 760 Diesel estate.

It does look tidy inside, agreed. I cannot justify spending that on a relatively thirsty and large car, especially as the V90 also does that very well :-)

I love the 740s, but I need a local runabout car and a brick is kind of excessive for a Daily 5K run to the train station!

I'd consider another 740 like that one as I already have the headlights on mine to put on it (I'd export to France) and a spare set of wheels (taken off mine)... but only at half the price. Probably wont be as in good nick, however

good luck with the sale
