Default Fitting LPG What kind of mpg can I expect

I'm fitting an LPG kit to my 850 T5 over the next few weekends and would like some advice on what kind of MPG I can expect ? I've read that the mpg can drop by upwards of 5mpg; Currently I get the following mpg city 18, combined 25, long run 31 obviously I'm a little concerned if on a combined run I can expect to lose 20%.

I have had a selection of vehicles with LPG none of these have lost anywhere near this mpg most have lost 1-2mpg and a little bit of power but the saving cancels that.

The biggest factor will be the lightness or otherwise of your right foot of course, but if it's any indication, the 'official' combined mpg for my 2.5 10v auto V70 is 27.4, and measured routinely over the past 200,000 miles, my LPG conversion returns have never been worse than 25 mpg, and are usually better, so arguably as you've found with your other cars, I'm losing 1 to 2 mpg, around 5 to 10% economy at most.

Keep the plugs fresh, the tyres correctly inflated, change the oil regularly and drive the car sensibly and you should see a steady saving in your fuel bills.

Cheers

Jack

im not sure on exact mpg figures but my 2001 C70 T5 will do 220 miles on £30 of gas using the BRC system... and I have no real loss of power ....
