Could be your steering rack. Does it feel like the steering wheel wants to center itself all the time?

Might be worth checking the lower suspension bush on the outside of the turn.

Default Steering rack

No the steering wheel doesn't want to centre itself there just seems to be a bit of free play of steering wheel on corners..

Default top engine mount?

Could it be the top engine mount being worn, causing the free play/wobble in steering?
The rubber bushes inside the mount are nearly ripped apart..

Unlikely , it won't help but shouldn't cause handed wobbliness in the steering. Mine was almost ripped for years with no noticeable change when I replaced it.Check the steering tie rods for play at their inner and outer joints.

Your not far from chippenham, might be worth a trip to MRG. Quick 30 min check over by the techs will give you your answer.

Regards

Iain
