What are the 2 pipes on my manual 850R radiator??
Afternoon all. Just trying to clear up a few things. Can anyone tell me what the 2 additional pipes are on the right hand side of my radiator. I thought they were for an oil cooler but aparently my manual 850 R would not have an oil cooler. Any ideas?

It's for the engine oil cooler.
The 850's and S/V/C70's all had engine oil coolers in the rad up to when me7 came along (98/99) when Volvo put an oil cooler on the back of the sump.

Aha after a week of searching i can confirm the part numbers needed for the oil cooler pipe o-rings and seals for a MANUAL 850R/V70R (at the radiator end)are.....
6842413(o-ring) 6842414(sealing ring) You need 2 of each. The part numbers for the retainers are 6842411 and again you need 2. Hope this helps someone out in the future. |
