The only thing I've noticed on my MY10 is it's a bit more thirsty than I thought it would be. Last tank averaged 33mpg.

Question

I too am in the market for a V50. As noney82 stated above, does the r design not have a dpf fitted?

I have a v50 2.0d sport and love it. I'd watch out for really lumpy idling and a hesitation under acceleration at low revs. Mine had these problems when I bought it (seller did say before hand I wasn't stitched up) and it ended up being failing injectors which are expensive to replace new (I got used ones on ebay from a 307 hdi) otherwise I've done about 18k miles and it's a really lovely car to drive. Agree with the mpg comment I thought it would be better to be fair. I get approx 45mpg with a 60/40 motorway/town usage and a squirt of rhino diesel in every tank.
