Default 4-C. Four C Active suspension. Critical tyre sizing?

How critical is the tyre sizing on a car with the 4-C active suspension?

Car is running (as purchased) on 235/45/R18 tyres at the moment, I see the recommended size is 235/40/R18.

Only a 23.5 mm difference in overall diameter but enough to cause issues?

Showing DTC's; SUM 0220 Position sensor, calibration not completed and,
SUM 0222 Solenoid, calibration not completed.

Car is at Volvo main dealer on Monday for a SUM re-calibration.

I think the calibration on Monday should clear the code. I have 235 x 40 x 18 for my road tyres. I use team dynamics 235 x 40 x 17 for track use as the tyres are cheaper and get no codes using these wheel/tyre combination

The 4-C and AWD is where tyre size matters,to the car that is. Along at all 4 are the same shouldn't be a problem.

But the insurance company could have different idear for the wrong Size tires fitted,if it's not factory standard size then it's a modification.
