help i have v50 2.0 diesel 2005 it really struggles start and when it does the tick over is very poor feels like the engine is about to fall out and the car is shaking and if you touch the accelerator it just stalls, now it was running fine and just 1 morning nothing there was air in the fuel line but that has now cleared any ideas please

Have you been using any 'back street ' Bio diesel by any chance??? Cos if you have without mixing it with a lot of the pump stuff you will find that the rubber seals and the like will have gone soft and knacked up the pump.
ps, yes I was the numpty who did it to find this out !!! |

Best move this to the main section not the sales and wants area.
Checked your glowplugs? If it's lumpy as custard you may have duff glow plug or a head gasket which you've lost compression on one cylinder. If it's a 5pot well they always idle off beat |
