Default No fog lights, radio illumination or full beam?

I just changed my window lifter after the old one tore itself apart.

I drilled out the rivets but ran out of daylight so removed the motor and fitted the new one a few days later.

Since then I haven't had any illumination behind the radio screen, the odometer etc. (and turning the brightness dial below the headlight switch doesn't do anything), the headlight vertical adjustment doesn't do anything, the fog lights don't work and full beam won't stay on (like if the switch is in the wrong position but moving the switch doesn't do anything).

Any ideas? I've checked all the fuses and can't find anything wrong.

possibly a faulty light switch unit , It only has 3 wires , live , earth and a digital data wire to the CEM , i would check the live feed and earth at the switch..

Thanks, so is it just a coincidence that it stopped when I had the door apart - or when I disconnected the door card could I have interrupted something there?
