Default PV544 Windshield Wiper washer question

I am new to the PV and the wiring diagrams in the manual are awful. I have included pics of my switch and motor. The switch I have seems to only pull out one click instead of four. I want to have dual speeds and washer. I have the nozzles on the cowl. Can someone give me some information. I looked at Ron's article but still confused.

The PV only ever had single speed wipers. I think the washers work at full pull the same as the Amazon. George/Arcturus will perhaps confirm that.

After a bit of digging. George would probably have had a vacuum washer on his B16 with a glass bottle. From an earlier post I think he's bought a 6v pump? Later B18 models had a wire from the wiper switch to the pump. Wire is blue and should have a double connection at 54d on the switch with the other blue wire going to 53 on the wiper motor. That would seem to indicate that the switch can control both the pump and the wiper motor. The washer normally comes on when you give a tug which takes it past the wiper only position. This is for safety so you just need to pull it when that truck covers the screen with muddy water. Switch might just need a good clean out to restore both switching positions.
Switch should have 2 blues to 54d, 1 red on 54, 1 black on 31, 1 green on 31b. These positions anti clock on the switch according to the wiring diagram. Black is earth. These numbers duplicated on the wiper motor so 54 to 54 for example. Pic shows pump top right and switch bottom left.
Other PV owners please jump in. John C?

My switch has only pull on off. single speed. Not necessarily original. Haven't got round to fitting vac washer yet as it's not a priority here
