hi

i would like to fit a turbo to my 440 1.6i, but is this the right thing to do?

is there something else i can do to inprove my performance?

How much, how hard etc answers needed

Hi Greg1,

The cost would not be worth it, there are plenty of 440 turbo's already out there. Why not get one that is already done?

thing is mate my 440 is a L reg and only done 20 000 mile in mint condisssss, she was a bargin so i grown quite attached

Not sure how much it would cost for the turbo and fitting, but you could probably buy a 440 turbo for the same price as converting your to turbo. This means you would have 2 cars though!

I suppose it depends on how much you want to spend, although why tamper with the car if its mint and very low milage.

buy a 440 turbo, then transplant al the parts over.

I reckon you should buy a turbo one as well, no harm in having two imagine having two 440s on the drive
