S40 2.0D Starting Problems. Turn the key but nothing!
Hi all, i had a little search around but couldn't find anything similar.
Have some problems starting my S40. (177k miles) I turn the key to position 2, all ok, all the lights come on, etc. Turn the key to position 3 to start the engine and nothing happens!! After a number of tries (anything from 2-20) it then starts. If I turn the engine off, and try to start up again, it goes first time. Any ideas please? Thanks Ben |

See my recent thread on this.
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=285582 You'll have the same issue, get it fixed asap before it leaves you stranded completely. Volvo redesigned this part 4 times!
