Hello, anyone Ot There Can Help Me With This One,2.0 440 1995, Every Single Item Checked! No Fault Codes! Ect.. Car Is Idling At 2000 Rpm And Incresses When Throttle Is Pressed To About 2500,
Starting From Cold It Has The Same Rpm And Has Been Observed On 4 Gas Machine, Emissions Decreess As Normal And Would Even Pass Mot! The Only Way Can Get Idle Down To About Is To Disconnect Map Sensor Pipe And Block It,then It Idles About 1000rpm Or Disconnect The Idle Speed Control Valve Pipe, large One By Throttle Plate And Plug It,idle Also Drops To About 1000rpm, Help Anyone ,ive Spent A Day Trying To Fix This, And Recently Have Had New Autobox Fitted! Driving Me Mad ,

Try swapping the Idle Control Valve or cleaning the one you have, also check for air leaks!

Check all the bolts on the head are done up tight especially the one for the idle control valve bracket! Checked the throttle cable?! Is the accelerator pedal lodged?
