S60 R-Design Edition vs R-Design Plus
Hi Folks,
I'm going to be looking to purchase a 2019/20 S60 R-Design and I'm unsure of the differences between the Plus and the Edition trim levels. Does anyone happen to have just a simple list of differences relating to the base model Plus compared to Edition? Alternatively, just a list of the optional extras on the Plus would work. Thanks for any help, Lewis. Last edited by lewism; Apr 23rd, 2024 at 17:19. |

On top of 'basic' spec, which is not that basic at all, with the 'Edition' you get:
Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, Winter pack with heated steering wheel, Headup display, Autodimming Interior and Exterior Rear View Mirrors, BLIS with Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Collision Mitigation, Rear Parking Camera, Smartphone Integration (Apple Car Play and Android Auto), Harman Kardon stereo. I may have missed something, the above info is based on online ads, as I'm looking at those too With the 'plus' it varies, many don't have any of the above extras, most popular I've seen are winter pack and headup display, occasionally xenium pack with 360deg camera. Best to see the car in flesh and double check everything, as the ads are often inaccurate and list some options the car clearly doesn't have, just looking by at the pictures.

this might help:
https://www.parkers.co.uk/volvo/s60/saloon-2019/specs/ You can see the standard spec of each trim level. Hopefully Parkers have it correct. |

Dealer told me the Edition was priced below the £40000 additional road tax band where other models go above it with similar features.
Not only have they got AUTO headlights (dip / main beam) but they also do the split main beam thing. Split rear seats are not standard / available on this model. |

I’m on my second R-Design Edition and whilst the first had the buttons, I was gutted to find the second didn’t but upon discovery of the video, the worry of lack of practicality immediately went away |
