Default reduced power light comes on

I have a v70 2.3 petrol t 5 reg 2000, i bought in june ,i am the second owner and it has been fully serviced from day one in murry volvo in edinburgh , the brake warning lights come on and then go off , i was told about this when i bought it , it has been on various diagnostig machines but it is showing anything , now i have had the power reduced light come on when i am doing about 20 miles per hour or less , but its runs fine on open road , i have had it preuser testet to check for leaks on head and pipes but its fine , does any one know if this could be to do with the abs tracs unit , or any ideas , cheers murd .
