  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

A lot of hard work - reasonable results - I'm happy.
It sure beats paying out 2 grand!

Yes, but used a special mask for 2-pack when spraying.
I would prefer to use something safer if I ever do another respray - maybe a single pack acrylic.

Looks ok....but why if you went to all that effot to colour code the front and rear bumpers didn't you do the rubbing strips on the side?, oh and that chequer plate on the rear bumper looks bloody awefull.

I seriously considered it - but in the end I decided not to as they often get bumped when passengers open the doors and I did not want the hassle of repainting them when they get chipped.
I agree that the chequerplate is not great. I tow a trailer and carry a lot of tools so I wanted something that would give some protection.

...... but eminently practical. When I wanted to protect the rear bumper on our old C8, I bought some of that chrome strip from Lidl, and attached it with about 6mm gaps between the strips. Looked quite tidy and did the job well.

You've done a nice job there Donal, good on you for trying.
