Morning Roy ... I've got a 2009MY so I dont know if the 2003MY heads are the same .... I use 192khz as format when ripping, I then just write the disks as a normal MP3 CD (ISO9660) .... but be careful I have problems if I go above 256 tracks on any CD ... may be something about the level of nesting the Volvo head unt can handlle.

hope it helps

Robin

Thanks Robin.

Unfortunatly the 2003 CD entertainment system won't recognise mp3 on the CD player or minidisc, so I need to convert the mp3 files to a format that the CD player will recognise.

I want to play the Fallout 3 music in my car, without buying an ipod and connector..

Can you burn them as WAV files? That should work.

Thanks for that.

I think I have the software to burn them as anything I want, it's just knowing what format to use that any CD player, even a 7 year old one will recognise.

Sorry Roy, too early in the morning ... yup, as chrisnjulie says, wav or cda .... but just using the output set as an "audio CD" should work.
